Im shopping for an engagement ring and I want to know the difference between a cubic zirconia and a genuine diamond. And I would appreciate any tips from people about buying an engagement ring. I was also wondering what is the difference between buying ur diamond from a walmart compare to sea? And also, what is a micro paved diamond? (I know these are a lot of questions, but i really need the help) Since we're kinda young and need the money for furniture our budget is only a couple hundred $$. So do you think it would be best to go with 10K ring where the diamond is fake and get a splurge on the ring later when we have the money, because my friends are talking abt me making an investment, but i mean we NEED the money and you cant eat a diamond so.. im going to compromise. But i do want my ring to look nice.. give me suggestions and tips.

You can choose a setting that you love and get a man-Made Diamond in it. Then you can replace it with a Real Diamond later. I wouldnt do a CZ because it looks very different next to a real diamond. If you are serious about this let me tell you there is a website that can really help you, however they will not talk to you about anything other than a real diamond. They will help you get more bang for your buck. Seriously, these people know what they are talking about. I am a member on this forum and it is amazing how they can help. Making the decision about whether to go all out now or later is up to you. Honestly I would do the best that you can now without strapping yourself. Your first engagement ring with have a good deal of sentimentality in it. I would not buy something that you do not really love with the intentions of getting something bigger and better later. Chances are you will get married and then want a new house and all of those things and the money may not be there later. If you have the money then I think that you should go ahead and invest it in a ring that is quality that you will love. Many people will get a .5ct diamond that is great quality over a 1-2ct that is inferior and that is exactly what this site will help you with.
